(Rho D immune globulin)
Given intravenously over 3-5 minutes
WinRho is used to treat ITP (idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura). It slows the destruction of platelets. It is made from human plasma.
Some of the side effects may include:
Flu-like symptoms:
Headache, chills, fever, fatigue, joint and/or muscle aches
Anemia: decreased hemoglobin.
Other very rare possible side effects: Abdominal or back pain, kidney impairment, pale skin, itching, rash, sweating, diarrhea, increased LDH (a specific lab test)
